Base URLs & versioning

Environments, API versions and which one to use.

Environments

Environment Base URL
Production https://production.ticketero.co/api/v4
Sandbox https://sandbox.ticketero.co/api/v4

Use sandbox for development and automated tests; switch the host to production when you go live. Tokens are environment-specific.

Versions

The API is versioned in the path (/api/v4/, /api/v3/, /api/v2/).

Use v4. It returns faster responses and more complete data. Older versions remain for backwards compatibility only.

The interactive seating maps are the one exception: the map bootstrap scripts are served from v2 and v3 (/api/v2/search/map, /api/v3/search/map). See Interactive maps.

Request format

  • Authenticated requests require Authorization: Bearer <token>.
  • Send JSON bodies with Content-Type: application/json.
  • Search endpoints accept their parameters as a JSON body or as a query string. The API merges both. Examples in this portal use whichever is clearest per endpoint.

Response envelope

Successful responses share one shape:

{
  "success": true,
  "data": { },
  "message": "..."
}

See Errors & responses for the failure shape and status codes.
